Sylvie Prenant Lives and works in Languedoc, an area where she draws a colored, sunny and warming creativity.

Sylvie has a passion for the art of contemporary living, and tastefully blends the values of days gone by in to our modern lives with a touch of warmth, discretion, and beauty.

Sylvie Prenant adds a soft, romantic touch to all of her decorator's fabrics, wallpaper, rugs, faïence and porcelains. Her creations consistently reflect her artistic ability to harmoniously combine tender lines with strong colors to create patterns which are a delight to behold.

A graduate of the Paris School of Applied Arts, Sylvie Prenant started her career in the field of Home Decorating and Design. She also participated in the setting up of a Parisian boutique of children's fashions, for which she was solely responsible for designing the entire collection.

Since 1992, she has created and developed "L'ILLUSTRATION BLEUE", a studio which creates and designs products for the home and for our daily lives: Decorator's Fabrics, wallpaper, linens, tableware, rugs, disposable tableware.

Each year, L'ILLUSTRATION BLEUE publishes Trends Newsletter for its clients in preparation for their upcoming collections which Sylvie Prenant helps design.

What's more, since 1995, L'ILLUSTRATION BLEUE has annually presented a collection developed along the lines of the "Ambiance concept": a classic theme revisited and coordinated, and particularly aimed at manufacturers in the Home Furnishings sector.
